Meet Bear and Me
Hi! I’m Bear’s mom, and my journey into pet adoption began with a simple visit to a dog rescue in Studio City in July 2022.
As an avid animal lover with a lifelong connection to dogs, I always knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of animals in need. I ventured into the rescue center to consider an older dog that day. Little did I know that fate had a different plan for me.
While exploring the small dog section, a charming little black puppy with fluffy eyebrows caught my eye. As if by magic, she gently placed her snout in my hand and laid down, gazing into my eyes as if to say, “Choose me.” I couldn’t resist her irresistible charm and scooped her into my arms. From then on, our lives were forever intertwined, and Baby Bear officially became a part of my family on July 14, 2022.
My lifelong passion for helping animals, especially dogs and cats needing loving homes, found its purpose in Bear’s story. She came from a challenging situation, one of 150 dogs on a property in Bakersfield, California. While they were cared for, it was clear that there were just too many. A dog rescuer stepped in as the hero, rescuing several dogs from this situation.
When she first joined our family at four months old, Bear didn’t quite know how to be a puppy. I aimed to teach her the ropes of being a happy and healthy dog. Witnessing her transformation was an absolute joy, filling my world with happiness. Having this little angel puppy in my life has brought abundant joy and love that I needed.
